Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel was conveniently located near the town center, but I may not stay again unless their smoking policy changes. The setup for three adults in one room was handy, but it was just okay overall.
For a one-night stopover, the hotel provided OK quality rooms with minimal towels. However, the rooms also had a microwave and a flat-screen television. The service was mixed, with one staff member being rude and insulting, but overall the staff were amazing, offering local advice and going above expectations. The location, although at a very busy intersection, was convenient between Perth & Townsville, making it a good overnight stop on the way to Longreach. The dining experience, due to the weekend stay, was a great added extra at a reasonable price. The facilities offered were standard but decent.
The hotel's rooms are very nice and comfortable, clean and well-insulated from road noises. The owners provided complimentary bacon and egg breakfast served to our room, which was a nice touch. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, although they are not available on Sundays. The location is very central and perfect for us, despite some noise concerns. The dining options were good, with breakfast included from Monday to Saturday. The facilities were satisfactory.
